U.S. Student Fulbright Grant Workshop Opportunity
Brooke Olsen, Fulbright program officer from the Institute of International Education in Chicago, will give a workshop on the Fulbright Program for U.S. Students on Wednesday, March 28th, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in International Commons, UCC 1117. The workshop will provide information for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in learning more about the Fulbright program.
Also featured will be former Fulbright grant winners from the University of Iowa, who will discuss the application process and experience abroad from a student’s perspective. UI Fulbright U.S. student program advisors Karen Wachsmuth (International Programs) and Kelly Thornburg (Honors Program) will discuss the details of next year’s campus application process.
There will be a reception directly following the workshop from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in International Commons, UCC 1117. Both the workshop and the reception are free and open to the public. Students, faculty, staff, and current and past grantees from all Fulbright programs are encouraged to attend.
