Upcoming UIHP Scholarships & Fellowships Information Sessions & Workshops 

So, you want to change the world? Fellowship opportunities for the University of Iowa’s social entrepreneurs, policy wonks, budding legislators and advocates for social justice. Thursday, October 11 4 to 5 PM in the South Commons, on the 3rd Floor of the Blank Honors Center.    

Join us for an introduction to a spectrum of nationally competitive, merit-based scholarships that support the intellectual, professional, and personal development of “change agents” – students from a broad range of disciplines who are invested in making the world a better place.

We’ll be discussing the mission and focus, eligibility requirements, key application components, and important deadlines of the following opportunities:  

  • Harry S. Truman ScholarshipPublic service across disciplines
  • Morris K. Udall ScholarshipEnvironmental advocacy and/or Native American Tribal Policy
  • Humanity in Action FellowshipConflict resolution and mediation skills in a global context
