Opportunity Alert! UI Business Model Competition
John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center and University of Iowa Research Foundation are pleased to announce the new UI Business Model Competition with $60,000 in total cash prizes. The Business Model Competition is based on a new approach to entrepreneurship, which encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to test business assumptions early with customers in order to make necessary pivots to their original ideas and end with a validated solution to their customers’ need. This competition is open to UI faculty, staff, and students.
The business model workshop will take place Friday, February 7th, from 11:30am -1:00pm, at the Bedell Entrepreneurship Learning Laboratory. Individuals that are interested in competing are highly encouraged to attend this workshop, as this is a new competition with unique guidelines.
